This video shows the band at its energetic
best Jeff thumps the harmonium with gusto, Lem sways frenetically
and Paul is his typical forceful self. The usually subdued Vic
even throws his guitar once in a while.
The
group is featured playing on roadside locations amidst scenes
of traffic and roads. The song never released on record
is a long-ish, rocking, bluesy number similar in style
to The Doors' Roadhouse Blues,
and features a jam session in which the band members clearly revel.
Jeff's
keyboard work shines in particular and the song closes with some
electrifying guitar work by Vic. It is a great example of
how Christie could perform more than just standard pop songs on
stage. Perhaps the political incorrectness of the song
"Give me one more drink, one more for the road"
was the reason it was not made available to the public.
